Single Cover: Future f/ Pharrell, Pusha T, & Casino – ‘Move That Dope’

Move That Dope

Future is taking it back to the streets with his next single. Following his Miley Cyrus collaboration “Real and True,” the Freebandz rapper calls on Pharrell, Pusha T, and Casino for “Move That Dope.” Prior to the song’s release on Friday, he took to Instagram to reveal the cover art.

“They say it’s dropping Feb 7th but who knows…It’s fiiiiiiiiiiiiiire tho!!” tweeted Pusha T.

Future’s sophomore album Honest is also set to feature appearances from Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West.

“It’s a real dope album and it should be eventful when it comes out,” said Mike WiLL Made It, who serves as executive producer.

Future plans to announce a release date and unveil the cover art sometime this week.

With four days to go until the song premieres, Shakira has revealed the sexy cover art for her collaboration with Rihanna, “Can’t Remember to Forget You.” The Barbados beauty lies down in front of the Colombian bombshell, whose rests her hand on RiRi’s shoulder.

“Only FOUR days until ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ with @rihanna !! Here’s the single artwork…. #soexcited,” tweeted Shakira.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, Shakira spoke about working with Rihanna. “We’ve been keeping it under secret [the collaboration], but we just shot the video. I never thought we could come together—with me on ‘The Voice’; taking care of my baby, Milan; Rihanna touring,” she said.

“But working with her was utopia. She’s the cutest woman on the planet. And at the end of the day, we’re both basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher.”

The song, which premieres January 13, is the first single from Shakira’s upcoming album, due in early 2014 on RCA/Sony Latin Iberia.

Adore You

Miley Cyrus is taking some time to smell the roses. Following the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “We Can’t Stop” and No. 1 hit “Wrecking Ball,” the pop singer slows things down with “Adore You,” the third single off her chart-topping album Bangerz. She revealed the artwork, which shows her face next to a bouquet of roses.

The ballad, written and produced by Stacy Barthe and Oren Yoel, will impact Top 40 radio on January 6, 2014.

Miley will celebrate the new year with a performance in Times Square on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” and kick off her “Bangerz Tour” on Valentine’s Day in Vancouver.

Single Cover: Ashanti f/ Rick Ross – ‘I Got It’

I Got It

Ashanti gets bossy with Rick Ross on her new single “I Got It.” The R&B songstress has revealed the artwork for the song, which hits iTunes on Tuesday, November 26. A previous version featuring Future leaked over the summer. It is set to appear on her upcoming album BraveHeart, due this winter.

On Friday, Ashanti was a guest on “Bethenny,” where she dished on keeping her relationships private and being single. “It’s a distraction,” the 33-year-old said of dating.

She also revealed what kind of men she is attracted to. “I like honest, sincere men. Men that are not cocky, but very confident,” said Ashanti.

In addition to music, she has been dabbling in acting. Following her appearance on “Law & Order: SVU,” she will star in the Lifetime movie Christmas in the City, premiering December 7 at 8 p.m.

Lil’ Kim Unveils New ‘Dead Gal Walking’ Cover Art

Lil’ Kim has revealed the new cover art for her single “Dead Gal Walking.” A zombie Kim lurks in the background on the dark and bloody artwork designed by Dusty Designs.

The original cover sparked controversy after makeup artist Samantha Ravndahl claimed Kim took her photo and used it without permission.

Ravndahl tells TMZ that she posted the selfie online and soon noticed that Kim was using it on her social sites. She is hoping to reach a financial settlement and avoid a lawsuit.

The song, which dropped on Halloween, is set to appear on Kim’s mixtape Hard Core 2K13, now due on Nov. 29 aka Black Friday.

Single Cover: Mariah Carey – ‘The Art of Letting Go’

The Art of Letting Go

With two weeks to go until its release, Mariah Carey has unveiled the sizzling cover art for her new single “The Art of Letting Go,” which also serves as the title track to her upcoming album. Roc and Roe’s hot mama flaunts her bikini body while sitting on the beach at sunset.

The emotional song, produced by Rodney Jerkins, will premiere on Facebook on November 11.

“There’s an emotion to it, as you listen to the song start to finish, that you can tell that it’s me,” Mariah told CNN. “It’s about letting go of maybe something that’s not right for you. But you just don’t know how to make that final move and let go of it. Like it’s not easy, it’s something that you have to learn how to do, and I think we’re all still learning.”

Lady Gaga Unveils ‘Venus’ Cover Art


Lady Gaga releases not one, but three covers for her ARTPOP track “Venus.” The striking artwork was shot by “Alejandro” and “Fame” director Steven Klein.

A topless Gaga wears a scorpion on her face on one cover, which was inspired by performance artist Marina Abramović. Cover 2 is a bat, while the third cover features a completely nude and tatted Gaga with an object over her mouth.

The song was originally slated to be the second single off ARTPOP, but due to popular demand, she has decided to go with “Do What U Want” featuring R. Kelly.

“Venus” will still hit iTunes on Monday, while ARTPOP arrives two weeks later on November 11.

“I composed ARTPOP to be a full experience, we are releasing all these songs and snippets to give you a more complete picture of the album,” said Gaga.
