R. Kelly Enlists 2 Chainz for New Single ‘My Story’

My Story

2 Chainz is everywhere—from his single “Feds Watching” to collaborations with Fall Out Boy, Jason Derulo, and Tinie Tempah. And now R&B icon R. Kelly has called on the in-demand rapper for his new single “My Story,” which is set to debut on Monday.

“Dropping my new song featuring @2chainz on Monday.. This is #MyStory.. and I’m sticking to it,” tweeted Kellz along with a photo of him smoking a cigar.

He debuted a snippet of the song during the BET Awards last month and has been working on his next album Black Panties, described as a sequel to his 1993 album 12 Play.

In the meantime, the Pied Piper has been playing summer festivals including Bonnaroo and the Pitchfork Music Festival, and made a surprise appearance during Phoenix’s set at Coachella.

Team Breezy and Team Minaj unite. Following the Aaliyah-assisted “Don’t Think They Know,” Chris Brown calls on Nicki Minaj for “Love More,” the new single from his upcoming album X. The artwork has been revealed, showing a heart made of smoke with Chris’ face inside.

Breezy and Nicki debuted part of the song live at the BET Awards last month. If you missed it, watch their performance.

X, which was originally due July 16, is expected to feature Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, B.o.B, Wiz Khalifa, and more, with production from Timbaland, Diplo, Polow Da Don, Danja, Pharrell, and Drumma Boy.

Lil Twist Enlists Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus for New Single ‘Twerk’


Lil Twist is making big moves. Following his collaborations with Lil Wayne and Chris Brown, the Young Money rapper has linked with pop superstars Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus for his new single “Twerk,” produced by Maejor Ali.

He revealed the single cover on Twitter, which features a photo of Miley twerking in her onesie.

“#3YoungMoguls #PowerMoves,” tweeted the 20-year-old Twist.

The song is slated to appear on his upcoming album Bad Decisions, executive produced by Lil Wayne and Shawty Mane (aka Justin Bieber).

Clappers to the front! Wale reveals the single cover for his strip club anthem “Clappers” featuring Nicki Minaj and Juicy J. The artwork features an old-school flyer for a gig at Club Clappers.

Nicki plays the role of a pimp on the booty-popping banger, which samples E.U.’s “Da Butt.”

The song is set to premiere next week and the video shoot is also slated to take place this month.

Wale’s third album The Gifted is due June 25 featuring collaborations with Rihanna, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, and more.

Single Cover: Justin Timberlake – ‘Tunnel Vision’

Tunnel Vision

Justin Timberlake is seeing “Tunnel Vision” on his next single. With “Mirrors” still in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, the pop superstar has revealed the sexy artwork for the follow-up, which features a naked woman’s silhouette over his face. The Timbaland-produced song is the third single off his platinum album The 20/20 Experience.

He will kick off his “Legends of the Summer” tour with Jay-Z on July 17 before launching an international solo tour on October 31.

A second part to The 20/20 Experience is due September 30 featuring 10 new songs.

Single Cover: Rihanna f/ David Guetta – ‘Right Now’

Right Now

While “Stay” remains in the top 10 on the Billboard 200, Rihanna has announced that the David Guetta-produced “Right Now” will serve as the next pop single off her album Unapologetic. She revealed the red-and-white artwork via Twitter, sporting short hair on the cover.

“#RIGHTNOW #BRANDNEW #SINGLECOVER #Unapologetic #SummerAnthem #NavyTakeOva,” tweeted RiRi, who is currently traveling across Europe on her “Diamonds World Tour.”

She recently shot a video for her urban single “Pour It Up” featuring pole dancers, blonde wigs, and dollar bills emblazoned with her face.

Single Cover: Chris Brown f/ Aaliyah – ‘They Don’t Know’

They Don't Know

With “Fine China” rising up the charts, Chris Brown has revealed the cover for his second single “They Don’t Know,” which contains never-before-heard vocals from Aaliyah. The artwork shows a reflection of Breezy’s tatted torso in the shape of an X, which is also the title of his sixth album, due July 16.

The song is scheduled to debut Monday and a video was shot earlier this month in L.A. “I shot it in the ‘hood. I went to 60th Street and Cedar Block,” said Breezy during the BET Awards press conference. “[I'm] bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I’m from.”

In addition to Aaliyah, X is set to feature Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar, with production from Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Danja, Pharrell, and Drumma Boy.
