Alicia Keys let “Freedom” ring on the opening U.S. date of her North American tour at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. The R&B songstress emerged from a cage to perform “Love Is Blind” in a red coat and sparkly pants. While in the Chicago area, she will stop by “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Friday to perform and possibly debut a clip from her “Put It in a Love Song” video with Beyoncé.

She spoke about the experience with Time Out Chicago. “To end up in Brazil, many months later in this un-be-liev-able visual video, oh my God, it was magnificent. The culture was incredible. The people. They came out to every place we shot. It’s officially Brazil’s song now.”
