Big Sean Addresses Pusha T-Lil Wayne Beef

Big Sean found himself caught in the middle of the Pusha T-Lil Wayne beef when “My Homies Still,” his collaboration with Weezy, premiered on Friday. But he’s not about to get involved with their feud.

“I did that record so long ago,” the Detroit MC said during an interview with Philadelphia’s Wired 96.5 at Wired Fest. “I almost forgot about it and it ended up being his single, so it’s all good for me.”

A rift between the G.O.O.D. Music and YMCMB camps ignited after Sean’s labelmate Pusha T and Wayne exchanged barbs on “Exodus: 23:1” and “Goulish,” but Sean is not choosing sides. “I think beef is weak, crack is wack,” he said.

He remains friends with both rappers. “I’m cool with everybody. People gotta understand, ain’t no point in beefing. We got families to take care of, we got moms to take care of. I ain’t about to be over here arguing with nobody. We all young, black men, entrepreneurs trying to get it.”

In addition, Sean revealed that the first single from his sophomore album will drop this month. He is also featured on “As Long As You Love Me” off Justin Bieber’s album Believe.
