New Music: Jhené Aiko - 'Drinking and Driving'

  /  11.15.2013

Jhené Aiko

In addition to releasing her own EP Sail Out this week, Jhené Aiko contributes a song to Solange’s Saint Heron compilation. On the emotional “Drinking and Driving,” love gets the best of the 25-year-old singer, who tries to ease her pain with Hennessy and weed.

“Anything to feel alive/ Anything to feel my heart beating/ Anything to feel like I’m still here/ Anything to feel like I’m still needed,” sings a fragile Jhené on the Dot Da Genius-produced song.

Saint Heron also features songs from Cassie, Sampha, Jade J, Starchild, BC Kingdom, Kelela, and Solange.

Listen to a tormented Jhené search for her escape.
