Bruno Mars x Red Hot Chili Peppers

Bruno Mars won’t be the only one rocking the field come Super Bowl Sunday. The Grammy-winning crooner will reportedly be joined by legendary rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers.

According to the Los Angeles Times, they will team up during the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show on February 2 at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.

Bruno is scheduled to make the official announcement during Fox’s broadcast of the New Orleans Saints-Seattle Seahawks playoff game on Saturday.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, who are currently on tour, are also set to play WFAN-AM’s pre-Super Bowl concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on February 1.

Before the Super Bowl, Bruno will compete at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, where he is nominated in four categories including Record and Song of the Year for “Locked Out of Heaven.”
