Lauryn Hill Performs Beatles Tribute on 'Letterman'

Lauryn Hill

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ U.S. debut performance, Lauryn Hill paid homage to the Fab Four with a rare appearance on Friday’s “Late Show with David Letterman.” The eight-time Grammy winner, who is currently on an East Coast tour, closed out the show’s week-long tribute with a cover of the band’s Abbey Road classic “Something.”

Dressed in a fedora and motorcycle jacket over a plaid dress, Ms. Hill and her band rocked the same theater where the Beatles made their groundbreaking first appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” in 1964.

Alicia Keys, John Legend, Pharrell, and more will also salute the legendary group during “The Beatles: The Night That Changed America – A GRAMMY Salute,” airing Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Watch Lauryn bring Beatlemania back.
