Robin Thicke won’t stop until Paula Patton is back in his arms. After debuting his new single at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, the R&B crooner took to “The Voice” season finale to plea to his wife of nine years.

With some help from Usher’s contestant Josh Kaufman, Thicke performed his touching ballad “Get Her Back,” which he penned following his separation from Patton.

Kaufman went on to win the competition. “Thanks @iamjoshkaufman for having me tonight,” tweeted Thicke. “You are a true artist and deserve the win! Appreciate you lending your voice to #GetHerBack.”

Ed Sheeran also hit the stage to perform his Pharrell-produced single “Sing” and dueted with Adam Levine’s contestant Christina Grimmie on “All of the Stars” off the The Fault in Our Stars soundtrack.
