The Weeknd Performs 'Earned It' on 'Today'
To celebrate the Blu-ray release of Fifty Shades of Grey, The Weeknd hit the outdoor stage on the “Today” show on Thursday. The XO crooner delivered a seductive performance of his chart-topping single “Earned It” to a packed crowd in New York’s Rockefeller Plaza. One fan held up a sign that read “Ur My #MCE,” but it seems like the singer is already taken.
The 25-year-old has been romantically linked to 18-year-old model Bella Hadid. “They were hanging out in Coachella and were flirting lots,” a source tells E! Online. “They have many things in common and really enjoyed each other’s company. She loves his music as well. They are hanging out for sure now.”
The “Today” concert series continues this summer with performances from Pitbull, Janelle Monáe, and Jennifer Lopez.
