Video: Puff Daddy feat. Pharrell Williams - 'Finna Get Loose'
Bad Boy is back in the building. After debuting the song at the BET Awards in June, Puff Daddy drops the video for his new single “Finna Get Loose” featuring Pharrell Williams. The monochromatic clip, directed by the legendary Hype Williams, finds Puff and Pharrell on stage performing for a hype crowd at an underground club with a live band and dancers (look for a cameo from Diddy’s son Christian).
“I’ve been trying to make this record for 15 years,” says Puff. “My vision was to make people dance. A record that makes people feel good. It is truly a blessing. You make music to affect people in an emotional way, and it is really great when you affect them in a positive way.”
The Pharrell-produced song is lifted from Puff Daddy & The Family’s upcoming album No Way Out II, the follow-up to 1997’s No Way Out. “It’s one of a kind. The mindset is to just be classic and be epic and to really live up to that,” Bad Boy signee Gizzle told Rap-Up TV. “We know it’s a tall order, but we welcome the challenge.”
