New York’s DJ Cassidy isn’t done promoting his breezy warm-weather jam “Future Is Mine” featuring electro-popsters Chromeo. Now he enlists Wale for a brand new remix.
The MMG rapper adapts his flow for the dance-able production without breaking a sweat, unleashing a verse that makes clever wordplay out of racial dynamics.
“Real talk, pull up with white chicks, hold up with black girls / That’s high off the white chick,” he raps, adding, “FaceTime, FaceTime I say no service / I need it like ‘In Living Color’ like it’s J.Lo twerkin’.”
Cassidy has also collaborated with R. Kelly, Robin Thicke, Usher, and CeeLo Green on his upcoming album Paradise Royale, due later this year.
