Drake Brings Out J. Cole at Austin City Limits
From Coachella to Wireless, Drake has been playing festivals non-stop since April. But his 2015 festival run came to a close on Saturday at Austin City Limits. After bringing out Future during the first weekend of ACL, Drake surprised with another superstar guest—J. Cole.
Fresh from attending the 20th anniversary Million Man March in D.C., Cole sent a collective gasp throughout the crowd at Zilker Park when he joined Drake to perform songs like “No Role Modelz” and “A Tale of 2 Citiez.”
“I don’t know if my mother had two kids that I don’t know about, but this my brother for real,” said Drake. “This one of the greatest guys that I know in my life. Anytime I call him, he’s there for me.”
During his headlining set, Drake also announced that the video for “Hotline Bling” will premiere this week.
