Will Smith Returns in Bomba Estéreo's 'Fiesta' Video
Earlier this month, Will Smith made his return to music on a surprise remix to Colombian group Bomba Estéreo’s “Fiesta.” Now, the tropical electro track receives a compelling video. Smith plays the role of a cloaked figure who stealthily invades a warehouse dance party, his appearance waking up a floor full of sleeping, neon-painted revelers.
Smith explains how the remix originally came about. “I was in Colombia with Marc Anthony. He was listening to music and I heard the ‘Fuego, fuego’ [lyric] and I was like, ‘Yo, that joint is crazy,'” said Smith. “I said, ‘That is crazy, I need to be on that.'”
Smith is back in the studio and already has 30 songs lined up for a new project. He also plans to launch a world tour next summer with DJ Jazzy Jeff.
