2 Chainz and Kehlani Talk Tattoos, Music, & Weed
2 Chainz meets Kehlani. The rapper and singer joined forces at SXSW, but not for a new song. Instead, they linked up with The FADER to interview each other about tattoos, their favorite weed, and how to tell when an album’s done.
“I’m at that stage right now, picking everything and getting that anxious feeling. I’m over-recording,” explained the “Did I” singer. “Now I’m at that album point, so it’s the pressure plus the anxiety of the album stuff.”
As a seasoned vet, Tity Boi offered up some wise words of advice. “Ain’t no pressure,” he said. “Let me tell you what you do: Do the same thing you did when you put the mixtape together. I’m telling you. Same everything. That’s how I coasted all the way here.”
