Rihanna Honors Prince in Calgary

Prince continues to shine. Like Mariah Carey, Frank Ocean, The Game, and others, Rihanna paid tribute to the late great Purple One during her “ANTI World Tour” stop in Calgary on Thursday (Apr. 21) with a performance of her hit single “Diamonds.”

“Sad day to music lovers, musicians, fans all over the world,” she said, as fans held lighters and phones in the air. “We lost one of the greatest, a legend, Prince. We’ll miss you.

“A lot of us started making music, listening to music because of Prince,” she continued, with purple visuals behind her. “So right now, I’m just gonna honor him…Let’s shine some light to him.”
