Drake to Open OVO Flagship Store in New York
The OVO owl is flying to New York as Drake announces the pending arrival of a new flagship store in the Empire State.
With no opening date announced, Drizzy teased the new shop with a black-and-white video, which features locations around Bowery Street. Turning NYC into Gotham, the clip features the OVO owl lit up in the sky like the Batman emblem. The 6 God’s caption? “#NYWELCOMEOVO”
This looks like a major expansion for the brand. Currently, OVO has flagships in Los Angeles and Toronto. Of course, merch is also available online through the company’s website.
New arrivals include an assortment of sweatpants and hooded sweatshirts featuring the OVO logo. There are also items like the camp-designed shirt which reads “OCTOBER” on the front and a similar long-sleeve that reads “let’s all get along like they do in canada” on the chest. Both items are currently sold out.
It’s been a major year for Drake. He dropped his album Views, which has has been certified 4x platinum. This morning, he also received eight Grammy nominations. He is now prepping More Life to drop this month.
