New Music: Kid Ink - 'Yu Know It'
Kid Ink has some unfinished business to share this holiday season. On Sunday (Dec. 18), the Batgang boss unleashed “Yu Know It,” an incomplete track produced by Kickin J.
Over a thumping instrumental, Ink brags about his business-savvy nature and party animal ways. “I don’t just play for the team,” he boasts. “Got a piece of the franchise / Trying to fraternize / There’s a party at the crib every night like a frat house.”
The song ends abruptly at 90 seconds and Ink says it’s because he never got around to completing it.
“A lil something to vibe out to over the Holidays,” he wrote on SoundCloud. “I never finished 2nd verse but felt like sharing anyway!”
In September, Ink unleashed his latest mixtape, Rocketshipshawty 2. Now, he says there’s more fresh material coming in the first quarter of 2017. “New Music coming at the top of the year,” he added.
