J. Cole, Snoop Dogg, & T-Pain Praise Eminem’s Anti-Trump Freestyle

The praise is pouring in. Eminem’s “The Storm” freestyle, which he debuted at Tuesday’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, has already generated support from his peers.

The explosive, anti-President Donald Trump tirade drew praise from J. Cole, who hailed the “Rap God” for his lyrics about racism, corruption, and inequality. “Whoa. Rap God. @Eminem thank you,” wrote the Dreamville boss. “Potentttt.”

T-Pain seemed to agree, tweeting, “Protect Eminem at all cost.”

Diddy took to social media to celebrate Em’s fiery freestyle, writing, “Eminem killed this shit!!! This is for Collin ball up a fist!!!”

Snoop Dogg, who’s collaborated with Slim Shady in the past, was also a vocal supporter. “Shoutout to Eminem for saying some real shit,” he said in an Instagram video. “Eminem, I always knew you was a real ni**a. We totally know you a real ni**a now…Eminem, real motherfuckin’ ni**a, so says Snoop Dogg.”

“The Storm” focused entirely on dissing the President in a variety of ways. Calling him a racist, making fun of his tan, and his hair, Marshall Mathers delivered an intricately written denouncement of the current administration. “We love our military and we love our country,” he rhymed. “But we fuckin’ hate Trump.”

Up next, Eminem is reportedly set to release his eighth studio album on Nov. 17.
