Another world premiere! Kendrick Lamar keeps the DAMN. videos coming with “LOVE.,” the latest single off his critically-acclaimed third major label album.
Directed by Dave Meyers and the little homies production duo of Dave Free and Kendrick himself, “LOVE.” begins at sunset on a beach, where Kung Fu Kenny is contemplating life. Soon, however, K-Dot gives fans a glimpse into his romantic nights through dinner time interactions.
The visual features the good, the bad, and the ugly ups and downs of a relationship. It finds Kendrick laughing with his boo, before arguing, and drinking alone. From there, the fast life takes over, with street lights flashing, and beautiful women surrounding Kenny at a video shoot.
But it’s the memories of his girl that keep K-Dot coming for more. After riding around the city with Zacari, who is featured on the chorus, Lamar finds his way back home, where he is welcomed with a knowing, loving look.
This is just the latest collaboration between Meyers and the little homies. Earlier this year, they also joined forces on clips for “HUMBLE.” and “LOYALTY.” off DAMN.
