Chris Brown Remixes H.E.R.'s 'Focus'

Chris Brown is focused. With a little help from DJ Envy, the R&B crooner takes on H.E.R.’s smooth and mellow single “Focus.”

H.E.R.’s silky voice remains on the track, but Brown adds background vocals on the hook. Then, he proceeds with a solo verse over the instrumental.

Singing about selfishness and cash, Breezy asks his girl to focus on him. “I get this money so I guess you can’t complain,” he sings. “Bring your ass home / You’ve been running through my mind all day.”

The DJ Envy remix is just the latest Brown collaboration. Recently, he also joined forces with Yo Gotti and Rich the Kid, among others. But the H.E.R. collaboration is also special because of the duo’s upcoming tour.

Breezy will kick off his “Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour” on June 19. Joined by H.E.R., 6LACK, and Rich the Kid, the trek will continue through Aug. 4 in Las Vegas.
