Drake and Migos Kick Off 'Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour'
Following a couple delays due to “production issues,” Drake and Migos kicked off their long-awaited “Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour” on Sunday (Aug. 12) at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Following Migos’ set, Drizzy thrilled fans with new and old hits, and a spectacular production including a flying yellow Ferrari that appeared above the crowd during “Yes Indeed.” He also invited a fan on stage for the “Half-Court Challenge,” where he had the opportunity to win $1750. “The city’s watching you right now,” said the 6 God.
Drake showed off his vocal chops by covering Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You,” which was preceded by his MJ collaboration “Don’t Matter to Me” off Scorpion.
Migos joined Drake on stage to perform “Versace” for the first time together, as well as their Culture II collaboration “Walk It Talk It.”
The joint trek was originally set to launch July 26 in Salt Lake City, but was delayed due to production issues. The opening date was pushed back a second time following more production issues, which postponed its start from Aug. 10 to Aug. 12. The “Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour” will now continue through Nov. 17 in Atlanta.
