Video: Jay Rock - 'Rotation 112th'
Jay Rock continues to unleash visuals off his critically-acclaimed album Redemption. Following the videos for “ES Tales” and “OSOM,” the TDE MC doubles back in the video for “Rotation 112th.”
Directed by Daniel Russell, the dizzying clip finds Jay Rock back in his ‘hood. He takes over a tire shop in one scene. As the camera spins around him, people BBQ on the engine of an SUV and women twerk. He also hits up other local L.A spots including 112th Street.
Jay Rock is now plotting a follow-up to June’s Redemption. “I’ve been thinking about that every day,” he recently told Rap-Up. “I’m ready to get back in the studio now… Ever since the big reviews on Redemption, I’m ready to go back in and just come with another project right now before the year is up. Hopefully, man, y’all might get that.”
Next up, Rock will kick off his “Big Redemption Tour” in support of his album. The 29-date trek kicks off Sept. 12 in Lawrence, Ky. and wraps Oct. 29 in Los Angeles.
