Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi started off the new year by getting into a bloody street brawl in New Zealand that ended with someone getting stabbed.
Jxmmi and members of Rae Sremmurd’s crew were walking in downtown Auckland on Thursday (Jan. 3) when the fight broke out after someone allegedly started recording video of the group.
In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Jxmmi is seen on the ground wrestling with several people, including a woman, while punches are thrown.
A broken bottle was reportedly used as a weapon during the brawl. Jxmmi was later seen talking to police with blood on his body, and one person was reportedly taken to the Auckland City Hospital with stab wounds.
It’s unclear who was stabbed or who did the stabbing. As for his brother Swae Lee, he was not present during the altercation. Police are investigating, and no arrests have been made so far.
The duo is in town for a performance at the Logan Campbell Centre in Epsom on Friday night (Jan. 4).
