Video: Ari Lennox - 'Up Late'
Still buzzing off the release of her debut album Shea Butter Baby, Ari Lennox debuts a video for her new single “Up Late.”
The simple, yet stunning clip finds the Dreamville songstress decked out in all white while performing in a green field against the majestic mountain backdrop. She is joined by the track’s producer Maségo, who plays the saxophone, while the sun eventually sets.
“Up late again / Head on my chest, hand on my ass,” sings Ari on the sultry R&B tune. “Make your way to North Hollywood / Target lingerie / Kissing your lips dipped in Backwood tips / I been crushing on you.”
Her debut album Shea Butter Baby dropped last week featuring appearances from J. Cole and J.I.D. You can catch her performing live on her 24-city “Shea Butter Baby Tour,” which kicked off over the weekend.
