Birdman Says He Gave Lil Wayne, Drake, & Nicki Minaj $1.4 Billion

Birdman is putting on for his whole team.

The Cash Money boss claims he helped his YMCMB artists including Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj each score a nine-figure bag amounting to a staggering total of $1.2-1.4 billion.

During his interview with Revolt’s “Big Facts Podcast,” Birdman said he gave Wayne $400-500 million while Drake received around $500 million, and another $300-400 million went to Nicki, all after Universal Music Group cut him a check.

“We all become hundreds of millionaires,” said Birdman. “When Universal gave me a bag, I can honestly say, I gave Wayne about $400 to $500 million. Drake got about $500 million and Nicki got about $300-400 million out my pocket, no cap.”

Added Birdman, “You don’t believe me, ask them.”

Elsewhere in the interview, he opened up about his infamous kiss with Lil Wayne that has become a widely discussed topic in hip-hop.

“I always looked at Wayne as my son…’cause I was in the streets and I thought this might be the last time they ever see me,” he said. “That’s where that shit really started from. I thought that, every night I leave, I might not never come back.”
