Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson

Aretha Franklin will be honored with a tribute fit for a queen at this weekend’s Grammy Awards. Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson are set to bring the house down with a musical tribute to the Queen of Soul at the 53rd annual ceremony, CNN has confirmed.

Franklin, who recently battled an unspecified illness, will reportedly appear during the telecast via a pre-recorded segment taped in her hometown of Detroit. This year, the 68-year-old legend is up for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals with Ron Isley for their duet “You’ve Got a Friend,” though she has taken a sabbatical from work and public appearances since the announcement of her ailment.

Aguilera and Hudson will perform some of Franklin’s most iconic songs alongside other artists. They are the latest to join the lineup for this year’s show, which will feature previously announced performers Rihanna, Drake, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Cee Lo Green, Usher, Justin Bieber, and more.

Catch all the must-see moments when music’s biggest night airs live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
