Jim Jonsin Happy to See Kelly Rowland Win

Kelly Rowland is swiftly climbing the charts with her Lil Wayne-assisted single “Motivation,” and her peers couldn’t be happier for her success, including the song’s producer Jim Jonsin.

After a few attempts to break a single, the Destiny’s Child diva finally has a hit on her hands. “I’m really happy that things are going well for her on this record. In addition to “Motivation,” Jonsin and Rico Love recorded three other songs for Kelly’s third album Here I Am, including an upbeat collaboration with Pitbull. “I think we cut a total of four songs with Rico Love and myself,” he added. “I did something with Wayne Wilkins. There’s a couple uptempo songs and we did another midtempo record.”
