Jill Scott Announces 'Block Party' Tour

Jill Scott is heating up the summer with a nationwide “Block Party.” The soul songstress will headline the month-long Budweiser Superfest tour beginning later this month.

The 17-city trek kicks off July 26 in Boston and travels to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, before winding down August 28 in Houston. Tickets are on sale now.

“Budweiser Superfest is back and better than ever with Jill Scott’s unique brand of urban soul,” said Bryan Hammonds, Budweiser Brand Manager. “This year builds on the successful 2010 revival of Superfest as Budweiser continues to bring great concerts to music fans in cities nationwide.”

Scott will perform material from her latest album The Light of the Sun and will be joined by special guests Anthony Hamilton and Mint Condition, with host Doug E. Fresh and music provided by DJ Jazzy Jeff.
