PaperWork

T.I. has unveiled the cover art for his ninth album Paperwork: The Motion Picture. Executive produced by Pharrell Williams, the follow-up to 2012’s Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head arrives October 21 via Grand Hustle/Columbia Records.

“The Wait Is Over!!!!! #PaperWork #10-21-14,” tweeted Tip.

In addition to the singles “About the Money” featuring Young Thug and the Iggy Azalea-assisted “No Mediocre,” the guest list includes Rick Ross, The-Dream, Lil Boosie, Jeezy, Trae Tha Truth, Nipsey Hussle, Problem, and Pharrell, who appears on the title track.

Earlier this month, he dropped the Skylar Grey-assisted “New National Anthem,” inspired by the Michael Brown shooting.

Paperwork marks the first album in a trilogy. “The sound sonically of this one is soulful, musical, kinda like [OutKast’s] Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik or Aquemini or [Jay Z’s] Blueprint,” Tip told MTV News. “It just has an incredible amount of soul and a perfect hybrid between the ahead-of-the-curve, new-school sound and the classic, nostalgic, soulful sound of yesteryear.”

He is still putting finishing touches on the album and was most recently in the studio with Usher. Check out a photo from their session below.
