Iggy Azalea’s new year is off to a great start. The Aussie rapper picked up her first award of 2015 at the 41st Annual People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday. She was presented with Favorite Hip-Hop Artist, beating out the competition including Drake, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, and her mentor T.I.

“Thanks so much to my fans,” said a grateful Iggy, who is nominated for four Grammys. “I really appreciate you continuing to show me so much support. I love you.”

She also hit the stage for a white-hot performance of her latest single “Beg for It.” Iggy hasn’t had time to shoot a video for the song, but she is already moving on to her next Reclassified single, “Trouble” featuring Jennifer Hudson.

On April 14, she will kick off her “Great Escape” arena tour with Nick Jonas and Tinashe. Tickets are on sale now.

She is also featured on Britney Spears’ upcoming single and Shakira’s 11th album.
