Behind the Video: Rihanna, Kanye West, & Paul McCartney - 'FourFiveSeconds'
Rihanna steps back into the spotlight to shoot the video for “FourFiveSeconds,” the first single from her upcoming eighth album. After debuting the acoustic song last week, the sexy superstar takes us behind the scenes of the Inez and Vinoodh-directed clip featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney.
The 26-year-old fashion icon strips down her look and dons Kanye’s own Sean John throwback denim vintage jacket (“fucking major”) as she performs alongside Yeezus and the Beatles legend on an all-white soundstage.
The rugged denim look was ‘Ye’s idea. “Kanye came up with the idea of doing just some real street, denim, all-American-type look,” explained RiRi. “Denim never goes out of style; it’s classic, it’s iconic, just like the fucking Beatles.”
Rihanna has yet to announce a release date for R8, but there are rumors that she will perform “FourFiveSeconds” at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 8.
