Kanye West, Justin Bieber Perform at Wango Tango
Yeezus rose to the stage at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango on Saturday. Following sets from Ne-Yo, Meghan Trainor, and Jason Derulo, the rap god closed out the pop music festival with an exhilarating set. As his mother-in-law Kris Jenner and G.O.O.D. Music brother Big Sean looked on, he delivered classics like “Jesus Walks,” “Touch the Sky,” and “Gold Digger” before the mostly teenage crowd, and busted out his “get low” dance during “All Day.”
Before ‘Ye, Justin Bieber returned to the stage at Saturday’s concert for his first full performance in two years. The pop heartthrob performed his hits “Boyfriend,” “As Long As You Love Me,” “All That Matters,” and his Jack Ü collaboration “Where Are Ü Now.”
Backstage, he spoke to JoJo Wright about his upcoming album, which will feature production from Kanye West, Rick Rubin, and Skrillex. “I’m just really happy with the place I’m at creatively. This is probably the best I’ve been,” he said. “It’s really uplifting and people are gonna smile when they listen to it.”
