Mike Posner Drops 'The Truth' EP

Real talk. Mike Posner shares The Truth on his introspective new EP, his first project since leaving RCA Records. The freebie features four songs from his upcoming album including the cautionary tale “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” and self-empowering “Be As You Are,” on which he shares advice from his mother, plus “Buried in Detroit,” an ode to his beloved hometown.

“These songs are best listened to the way that they were written: at night, and alone,” wrote Mike in a blog post.

The project received praise from his friends including Avicii and Big Sean, who wrote, “Mike Posner is one of the most clever, talented writers I know, and this is his best work yet.”

The Truth will be available on iTunes on June 22. Stream it below.
