New Music: Big Grams - 'Goldmine Junkie'

Big Grams (Big Boi and Phantogram) is only days away from the release of its self-titled debut EP. So far we’ve heard two songs—the triumphant “Fell in the Sun” and the melodic “Lights On”—until now, with the release of “Goldmine Junkie.”

Like the previous tracks, this one combines Phantogram’s indie-pop synth lines and vocal melodies with hard-hitting bass lines and nimble verses from Big Boi. “Using all three eyes to get between thighs,” he raps, demonstrating one of the many benefits of staying woke at all times.

Big Grams drops Friday on Epic Records, and the group will perform tomorrow on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
