New Music: Bow Wow - 'Too Real'

In between starring on “CSI: Cyber,” which kicked off its second season on Sunday, Bow Wow is back with a new one called “Too Real,” the first single from his forthcoming Fuck Rap EP.

The last we heard from him was a feature spot on Jermaine Dupri’s “WYA.” This time around, he’s going in over a bouncy R&B beat produced by DJ Willi. Its stripped-down bass line and neon synths recall the DJ Mustard-influenced SoCal party music that’s dominated radio for the last few years.

For his part, Bow Wow sounds perfectly natural as an R&B lothario. “She begging me to hit it raw,” he raps, “but I be like, no no.”

Bow Wow is now under Diddy’s management and plans to release Fuck Rap later this fall.
