The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran Perform 'Dark Times' in Toronto
The Weeknd returned to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre for the second night of his sold-out “Madness Fall Tour” on Thursday. The Canadian crooner surprised his hometown crowd by bringing out Ed Sheeran to perform their duet “Dark Times.” With Ed on guitar, they powered through their collaboration off The Weeknd’s chart-topping album Beauty Behind the Madness.
The Weeknd praised his pal from across the pond. “I’ve written with a lot of people in my life, but he is the fastest and most talented songwriter I’ve every worked with, ever,” he said. “He worked so fast, if we stayed in the studio another week, we could have had a full album maybe.”
The “Madness Fall Tour” continues through December, with stops in Boston, New York, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, and Miami.
