Future's 'EVOL' Debuts at No. 1
Three-peat. Future earns his third No. 1 album with EVOL, which tops the Billboard 200 after selling 134,000 equivalent album units for the week ending Feb. 11.
It’s a milestone effort for Future, marking his third overall No. 1. He reached this feat in six months and 20 days with his last three sets—July’s DS2, his Drake joint project What a Time to Be Alive, and now EVOL.
This week, EVOL also helped Future gain the fastest accumulation of No. 1s since 2010, when the cast of “Glee” scored three No. 1s (with soundtracks) in less than two months. Not counting “Glee,” the last solo artist to beat Future in this regard was Herb Alpert in 1965-1966.

Wiz Khalifa also enters the charts this week with Khalifa, which debuts at No. 6 with 64,000 units sold. It’s his fourth top 10 project and it follows Blacc Hollywood, which arrived at No. 1 in 2014 with 90,000 units sold.
Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Adele’s 25 sits at No. 2 with 121,000 units, Rihanna’s ANTI drops from No. 1 to No. 3 with 96,000, Super Bowl 50 performers Coldplay jump 16-4 with A Head Full of Dreams (90,000), and Justin Bieber’s Purpose locks down the No. 5 spot with 73,000 units sold.
NOW 57, Elton John’s Wonderful Crazy Night, Twenty One Pilots’ Blurry Faces, and Kevin Gates’ Islah round out the top 10.
