Jidenna Performs 'Bambi' on 'The Late Show'

  /  03.07.2017

Jidenna drank his cares away during his visit to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Monday (March 6). With disheveled hair and glass in hand, the Wondaland signee performed his latest single “Bambi” from his debut album The Chief. Reenacting scenes from the music video, a sweaty Jidenna stumbled across the stage while singing about the one who got away.

“My dear I want you here / Don’t get too near for there’s lions, beware,” he sang.

His mentor Janelle Monáe was tuned in and beaming with pride. “AMAZING performance from @Jidenna last night on @ColberLateShow!” she tweeted. “I’m so very proud!”
