New Music: Snoop Dogg feat. Kim Burrell - 'Sunshine Feel Good'

  /  02.21.2018

Snoop Dogg stays busy.

After dropping five gospel tracks and his 220 EP, the Long Beach legend returns with “Sunshine Feel Good,” a Kim Burrell collaboration off his upcoming album Bible of Love.

Produced by DJ Battlecat, the West Coast beat features a lowrider bounce, while Burrell provides a soulful assist. “Don’t front, you know this sunshine feels good in my hood,” she sings. “Sometimes you might feel alone / But don’t look now, it’s almost morning / Just let the sunshine in.”

Da Doggfather also reflects on dark versus light. “Was a time when a storm came in my life,” he raps. “Didn’t know which way to turn, to the left or right / Out the corner of my eye, saw a little light / Flickerin’ like a flame in the darkest night.”

Earlier this month, Coach Snoop dropped five gospel tracks off Bible of Love. Yesterday, he followed up with the 220 EP featuring Dreezy, Jacquees, and more.
