French Montana is officially a U.S. citizen.

The rapper was sworn in at a ceremony in New Jersey on Wednesday morning (June 13). As part of his citizenship, he can now vote in the 2020 election and get a U.S. passport.

According to TMZ, his citizenship was a lengthy process. He reportedly applied in February 2017 and had to take the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance.
