Ashanti was shining from head-to-toe atop the New York Daily News float at the 82nd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday. Watch her perform “Shine” below.

“I’m all about family. Everyone comes over. I do about 80% of the cooking. I do the big bird, do the cabbage, do the mac & cheese, do a special orange chicken—that’s my special secret recipe,” the 28-year-old singer told the New York paper about her Thanksgiving plans.
