Rap-Up.com || Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty

Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to two felony charges for his alleged assault of Rihanna on Monday.

A somber-looking Brown appeared with his lawyer Mark Geragos in a Los Angeles courtroom dressed in all black. The pop star entered a not guilty plea to his felony charges on assault and criminal threats.

The 19-year-old “Forever” singer was surrounded by security as he entered the courthouse with his mother. His arraignment lasted less than five minutes.

“My client recognizes that it’s not up to her to decide what type of deal she wants,” said Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra, in a press conference following the hearing. “She would be pleased if this were over quickly.”

Brown is due back in court on April 29. Rihanna is currently in Barbados with her family.

not guilty??? he’s as guilty as there could be! also can rihanna drop all the charges or is it not in her own hands???

^ He’s not necessarily “guilty as there could be.” Rihanna is NOT pressing charges, this is the state of California against him. All she can do is refuses to testify (which she doesn’t want to do, but will if legally forced) and therefore wouldn’t be a case.

Wow not guilty??? Like seriously????? Its so unfair that celebs can get away wit anything and rihanna nerve not to stand up for herself??? She shud have been a leader for other women out there and stop this domestic violence….as for chris….hes lucky she wasnt a hood chick…becuz his ass would been in a jail long time ago seriously dude need to learn his lesson and stop havin young men thinkin this is a cool thing to do.

Dominicano… you need to understand that this is NOT domestic violence, it’s assult if anything (but even that’s questionable because all you have is Rihanna’s side of the story, which could/probably is bullshit).
