Whitney Houston to Appear on ‘Oprah’

Whitney Houston has a date with Oprah. The Grammy winner will be the first guest to appear on the 24th season of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Oprah will sit down with the singing sensation in what’s being called “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.”

This marks Houston’s first interview in nearly seven years and coincides with the release of her new album, I Look to You (Aug. 31).

“The Oprah Winfrey Show: Exclusive: Whitney Houston’s First Interview” airs Monday, September 14. Check local listings for times.

    Go head Ms. Houston! Oprah’s got so much love for Whitney! I can’t wait for that interview. I expect lots of laughter and tears. You know Oprah is gonna promote her album like crazy.

Her eyes aren’t as open as they used to be (and i’m not just judging from the above picture), and her cheeks are larger/rounder in shape. She can’t fully pronounce her “S’s” right, so something was done! i know it! I love her, regardless, but I am not fooled!:)

    Good cause she needs to promote that album asap. It’s coming out in less than two weeks! We’re rooting for you Whitney. Then up next will be Mariah. Can’t wait for both albums!!!!!

    Stop hating on the woman. She proved her point years ago. Funny how everybody with no musical experience make comments about her voice and blame her vocal issues to drugs because that is what the main stream white media told you! The truth is that Whitney like many professional singers male and female like, Aretha, Barbara,even gospel great Mahaila Jackson, suffered from Vocal Cord Nodules And Polyps, and that is the reason from the major change in her voice. The years during the Bodyguard is when it first started. FYI – She has been singing all her life and over 25 years professionally she is not 19 any longer. Go ahead Whitney Do Yo thing Gurl! – Shes going to sell more records than any of us! LOL

    God Bless Whitney, and I for one prayed for her to be redeemed years ago when she first married Bobby. She’s paid her dues and her troubles should all be over, Give her a chance to redeem herself. Thank you Oprah for hanging in there with her.

    I do not think she will be interviewed on Good Morning America , but she will sing. I believe Opra
    will really have the first true interview with Whitney.
