Jay-Z

While his hard-working wife is trying to stay out of the spotlight in 2010, Jay-Z will continue to bring home the bacon.

When asked by Power 105.1’s Ed Lover if he had been recording a follow-up to last year’s No. 1 album The Blueprint 3, the Brooklyn rapper coyly responded, “Maybe. I got some ideas.”

While it’s still too soon to say, Jay-Z is in the creative process. “I didn’t start yet, I just got a bunch of ideas,” he revealed, while adding, “Maybe if I get into a nice zone.”

When he appeared on his radio show Wednesday (Jan. 13), Lover noticed that Jay had been growing out his hair, a sign that he’s been in the studio. “I’m on my way, just ideas,” he remarked.

As far as albums he’s looking forward to this year, Hov cited Drake, Lupe Fiasco, and Jay Electronica.
