Rap-Up.com || Lady Gaga Was to Open for Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ Tour

~~Larry~~ Lady Gaga sports suspenders in honor of Larry King during her appearance on “Larry King Live.” The pop superstar discusses being tested for lupus and reveals that she was tapped to open and duet with Michael Jackson on his “This Is It” concert dates in the U.K.

“Michael’s death was devastating for me, regardless of whether or not I was supposed to go on tour with him,” she said. “He’s such an inspiration and remarkable human being.”

She also shares her thoughts on the military’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. The full interview airs tonight on CNN.

I really can’t imagine MJ touring with her. I find her performances revolting, repulsive, in poor taste, and indicative of a lack of ethics and judgment. Her voice is good, so why does she undermine herself with such tasteless semi-pornographic performances? She is not at all attractive in her seeming nudity from the waist down, nor in her blood-soaked aerial acts. I won’t watch LKL when she is interviewed and I am disappointed in MJ for selecting her to perform on his tour. I’m not sure that is even true.

If she was gonna open for MJ how come we didn’t heard of it, if that was true the organisers would have let her perform at his funeral just like how they made that boy from britain got talent performed because mj had said he admired him. From all the buzz that was going on for MJ tour I’ve never heard of this and if it was true it would have been mentioned

@ Casey, no one is hating on gaga, why is it whenever someone gives their opinion they automatically become a hater.I don’t think anyone is holding hate for gaga, but it is just sounds funny this was not mentioned, even when MJ died and everyone was buzzing about his tour there was not even one mention about gaga, I mean the organisers were all over doing interviews and I’m pretty sure they would have mentioned it. Before Micheal died they were even talking about his siblings joining him on stage to perform, they must would have mentioned the opening act.

I just love this woman. Opening for Michael would have been a huge opportunity for her. Janet has been photographed at a few of her concerts and Michaels people have already said he wanted to collaborate with her, so it didn’t really come to surprise to hear this.

To all the people that never heard of the supposed Lady Gaga opening for Michael Jackson thing, according to the news before his death, she was asked to perform during the “This Is It” tour, no word was ever said whether she agree. Supposedly according to what I read more than a year ago now that Michael Jackson requested her. She at the time, however, wasn’t as big yet so people didn’t really think it was weird for her to do so, especially for opening act. -P.S. I’m a huge Michael Jackson fan and was constantly reading up on any news that came from the “This is It” tour and I remember the story and some of the original supposed opening acts before Michael died. RIP Michael Jackson…
