« Drake Pushes ‘Take Care’ to NovemberBeyoncé Covers Michael Jackson Classic at Tribute Concert [Video] »Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, & Ne-Yo Salute Michael Jackson at Tribute Concert![]() Some of Michael Jackson’s most famous fans and family members gathered to celebrate the iconic career of the pop legend at a tribute show in Cardiff, Wales, on Saturday (Oct. 8). “Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert,” which was sanctioned by Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson, featured superstar sets from Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis, and more, with hosts Jamie Foxx and Fearne Cotton. The Jackson family, including Michael’s three kids, took the glove-shaped stage before tens of thousands of devoted fans at Millenium Stadium. Among the highlights… • Ne-Yo kicked off the four-hour extravaganza by channeling the pop icon during “Billie Jean” and “The Lady In My Life.” He thrilled with MJ’s signature moves in his iconic glittery jacket and glove. Previously announced performers the Black Eyed Peas and Jennifer Hudson pulled out of the show. “To my uk fans that were coming to the mj show in wales. I will no longer be attentding due to major production issues,” tweeted Hudson. “I would have thought they would have informed you all by now, so since they did not, I am. Thank u for your support.” Brothers Jermaine and Randy boycotted the event because of its timing with the Jackson manslaughter trial, while Janet explained that it would be too painful to perform amidst the court proceedings.

@KillBill, How much were they paid? *sips tea*
Beyonce will never reach MJ status. His kids will never understand the impact MJ left. Artist will never say “I was inspired by Beyonce” because the women is never original always copies the next and on top of the she doesn’t even have a CLASSIC album.
It doesn’t take a “hater” to know this. Get your head out her ass and maybe you’ll know the facts as well :)

@Teenay,
Beyonce’s always ripping off people’s ideas; if you can’t see that, you are a true moron; when she’s original, people will respect her but until then………….

@sitrr, How could you say they don’t know their father, WOW!!!!!! Beyonce has been passed the torch so stay mad. F.Y.I Mary J. Blige is inspired by Beyonce, so as Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, Toni Braxton, Leona Lewis, Patti Labelle, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Bono, Usher, and many many more. And she’s on everybody’s list for their future collab, wasn’t Michael the same way.
I know the Facts: YouTube has videos of artist paying respect to Beyonce. I betcha those kids didn’t come up with that speech themselves their grandmother, uncles, and aunts probably approved it. All hail the new “King of Pop”. Hhahahahaha

@sitrr, @KillBill Beyonce said out of her MOUTH that her album were not classic material. Yes she can sing when she isn’t screaming or growling, puppy pop, and swing that tired lacefront but THAT’S IT!
MJ was more than a singer who can dance! Stop with the delusions..

@sitrr, Show me the car fax!!! Screaming, give me link to video when she is screaming, and every singer on this earth growl at some point. How I know? Because I’m majoring in Vocal Performance. Its not puppy pop, she’s the new King of Pop, yass. Like her stylist said “Lace fronts are so 2009, the hair she rocks on the red carpet is all hers. DIL, is one of rolling stones and other music list greatest albums of all time.
Beyonce is the new Michael, stay mad.
KillBill Reply:

@sitrr, Give me the link to where she said that, I’m a Bey stan and I never heard of that. She never screams, screaming is an uncontrollable sound, she has the most control of all singers, she expands over 3.5 octaves, your probably angry because your fav strains at 1 octave. Growling is used by every singer, Rihanna uses it, Whitney, Michael, Mariah, Patti, Fantasia, Karen Clarke, and many more growling also is praised as a good effect. Word from Bey’s stylist Lace fronts are so 2009, her hair now is all natural.

[Reply]
October 8th, 2011 at 7:34 pm
This is another Tribute that’s taking a shot at capitalizing on Michael Jackson’ s death without any shame. The trial is still going on, and as a diehard fan I’d say Justice before profits. What’s the matter with the Jackson Family? They have become a runaway train, how can we trust them at this point? Joe Jackson has recently teamed up with a professional crook Julian Rouas to exploit Michael’ s image with a new line of cheesy perfumes. To make matters worse, they are manipulating MJ’ s kids (Prince and Paris) to pose with the controversial perfumes. I get feelings of disgust when seeing the sickening photos.

I see the Ciara & Keri gurls mad. Here’s the reason why they will never be asked by the family to be apart of a MJ Tribute:
Ciara-Blacklisted by the industry. She is irrelevant. The family don’t know her bew.
Keri-A nobody. She tried and failed. Can we go back to the EBT Awards where she was trying to do Michael but failed and was giving Elvis in blackface.
Take this and deal with it.

Great concert tho, King MJ will always live to me

If michael jackson’s family names beyonce as the closest artist to him- why get mad at that for?
“crazy in love” is the best song of the 00s, beyonce has something which your favourite will never have- i.e. legendary status at 30 years ago.
Beyonce is king, she said it, Jay z said it, we’ve (stans as well as haters) been saying and know, MJ’s family has confirmed it too. i bet beyonce is in your favourite’s top 5 artists list.
