Rap-Up.com || New Music: Rick Ross – ‘Rich Forever’ [Mixtape]

Rick Ross gets down like a boss on his mixtape Rich Forever, hosted by DJ Scream and Shaheem Reid. The Miami kingpin pulls in some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B for the 19 original tracks, including Drake, Nas, Kelly Rowland, Diddy, Pharrell, Wale, and John Legend, with production from hitmakers Boi-1da, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Lex Luger, and more.

“What’s living forever if you gonna struggle forever? I’d rather be rich forever,” said Rozay. “Even if I ain’t here for the whole time, the time I am here, I wanna be able to make a difference in these ni**as’ lives.”

My thing with Rick Ross is his lack of versatility… I can vibe to this, and it’s definitely not bad, but I’ve heard at least three spin-offs of B.M.F. But I like his confidence and delivery. He has some nice features on there, with Nas being the icing on the cake… That verse was mad dope! I like it. Wasn’t blown away, Rozay kinda gave me what I was expecting to get. I’m content.

Great mixtape. There’s a few standout tracks on there, including Triple Beam Dreams, The World Is Ours, Party Heart, Rich Forever and Mine Games.

Now anticipating the album.
