Rap-Up.com || Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, and John Legend Attend White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Hollywood mingled with the President at the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. Golden girl Alicia Keys was glowing in a Diane von Furstenberg dress as she and husband Swizz Beatz attended as guests of Bloomberg. Mary J. Blige was elegant in a black gown, taking a seat beside her husband Kendu Isaacs at the NPR table. One of President Obama’s favorite singers, John Legend, arrived with his red-hot date, fiancée Christine Teigen.

“It’s very interesting; I like the mesh of people,” Alicia told USA Today. “The convergence of all politics and entertainment, it’s very interesting.”

Jimmy Kimmel entertained the crowd before the President cracked some jokes of his own. Other attendees included Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, and Steven Spielberg.

I must admit that Alicia Keys looks amazing here. The hair and dress are perfect. The belt adds a little funky flair, although she could have chosen a different one that suits the color a bit better. :)

So, Bush 3.0 gives his co-sign to them.

Just as Bush got us into $5 trillion deficit, Obama DOUBLED it in less than half the time.
Just as Bush got us into two wars in Afghanistan & Iraq, Obama’s gotten us into FIVE wars by adding Libya, Pakistan, and Yemen as well (at least Bush had Congress’ approval for his)
Just as Bush got the Patriot Act into law, Obama’s extended it THREE TIMES.
Just as Bush sank us into record high gas prices, Obama’s DOUBLED them.

And why did everybody vote for him again? Because they thought he was bringing “change,” am I right?

I don’t think she’s underdressed but it seems a lot of people were overdressed and about to pop out of their beautiful dresses. She looks amazing and happy. Does anything else really matter?

@Sonya, Alicia is under dressed. she was much more elegant at the fashion shows in Paris. She is at a dinner with POTUS. Not dinner at Red Lobster and a Movie afterwards.

Well she may have been much more elegant at the fashion shows but I still don’t think she is underdressed here. I think she looks beautiful and very classy and I love her dress. Doesn’t really matter what she wears anyway because she always seems to outshine everyone with just her personality and that smile.
