ummm yall sound foolish. Go watch sparkle , The Mother which Whitney plays isnt a huge role she doesnt even sing in the original they added that for the remake so it makes sense that the majority of the songs is the daughters smh.

The original movie is one of my favorite films .. it’s gritty, it’s hard, it’s REAL … no sugarcoating. They’ve already change key components of the original–Detroit, NOT New York; middle-class, NOT rags to sought after riches; 1960s, NOT 1950s. Anyway, I hope Carmen Ejogo does a decent job as Sister, because Lonette McKee played the hell out of that role! And the critics will have Ejogo’s head if her performance is lackluster. One thing that gets me about this tracklist, though…where’s “Loving You Baby?” I can’t BELIEVE they would omit that song! And nothing against Jordin Sparks, but it’s hard watching this trailer knowing that Whitney wanted Aaliyah as Sparkle in this remake.

@M., Sit your ass down somewhere! Your ass obviously knows nothing of the original movie … if they dramatically change a lot of the elements, it’s not a REMAK! Dumbass.
