LOL at Drake being the most consistent rapper of our time, did Jay-z, Nas, and Kanye die. He ain’t even the best rapper of his generation, that title goes to Kendrick Lamar and J Cole.

All Drake is is a light skinned Ja Rule, who makes pop records for 14 year old girls.

    Truth Reply:

@flawda, I cant believe u just compared Drake to Ja Rule. Drake makes better music and will continue to sell records for the rest of his life. All Drake albums will go platinum or double platinum guaranteed his fanbase is too big.

@what,J Cole’s mixtapes are better than any album Drake has ever released.

    [Reply]

    what Reply:

@Derrick, idk but all that. But j.Cole’s albums aren’t as good as his mixtapes. The argument was that Drake constantly puts out good music

    [Reply]

    Nathan Reply:

@what, And if you’d listen to Cole’s interviews, you’d understand why his mixtapes will probably always be better than his albums.

@flawda, how can you call kanye consistent after yeezus hahaha

    [Reply]

    KOBE Reply:

@KingBinks, Obviously your’re deaf. Kanye is the most consistent artist of our generation. Drake wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for Kanye.

    [Reply]

    JHP Reply:

@flawda, Kanye is the best artist of the last decade to me, but the bars Drake was spitting on Jodeci Freestyle and The Motion sh*t on Yeezus entirely. Drake is right up there WITH Cole and Kendrick rather you like it or not hater, and Nothing Was The Same might potentially be the best album this year

@flawda, are you serious? Nas hasn’t been putting out good music these last years lets be honest. Drake is the most consistent and hasn’t dropped a bad song. He’s killing it and NWTS hasn’t even dropped. Plus started from the bottom has been an Anthem, drake never disappoints

    [Reply]

    Nathan Reply:

@Maka, When’s the last time you’ve heard a bad Kendrick, Nas or Cole song? I’ll wait. You don’t have to knock other rappers of substance down just to boost Drake up, you know.

    [Reply]

    joe Reply:

@Nathan, Every rapper has “bad” songs.

    [Reply]

    Stan4QB Reply:

@Maka, Started From The Bottom is a dumbass song, and if it was going to be made by anybody it shouldn’t have been made by Drake, who most certainly did NOT “start from the bottom”. Drake is talented and has music with depth but to list songs like ‘The Motto’ and ‘Started From The Bottom’ when discussing his greatest musical achievements is nothing short of insulting. He can do and has done better.

When it comes to Drake, never expect an objective conversation. The stans won’t allow it, first of all. Then, you have the people who are just hating — plain and simple. And finally, the level headed people who can praise and give constructive criticism are rarely able to get a word in edgewise. The only album I’ve really been anticipating this year was Born Sinner and I’ve already copped that. I wonder if NWTS will be worth my money.

    J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar & Drake (some might even say Wale) are the new school rappers who will most likely go down as legends by the time their careers are over. Basic niggas kill me trying to foster beef between these guys where their probably is none and, aside from the fact that they are conscious, a lot of the comparisons y’all come up with make not one damn iota of sense because each one of these guys has a different message to convey.

Y’all have to understand that Drake has crossover appeal. He’s got the rap and R&B community in his back pocket and is working on the pop community as well. That’s why his record sales are good for hip-hop and surpass other rap artists who are grounded only in hip-hop roots.
