LoLa Monroe Gives Birth to Baby Boy
It’s a boy for LoLa Monroe! The Taylor Gang rapper welcomed her first child with Bad Boy MC King Los on Tuesday.
The new mom shared the joyous news with her fans on Twitter. “To God be the Glory!!!!! Our royal gift has arrived!!! I just gave birth to our baby….!!!! LOVE,” tweeted LoLa. “I can’t even read through all my mentions!! Thaaaaaank you sooooo much for all this love! He’s been the most amazing thing ever!!!”
The baby’s father was by her side for the delivery. “A KING IS BORN!!!!!” tweeted an excited Los. “God did some amazing things for us today !!!!!”
LoLa’s Taylor Gang family sent well wishes to the new parents. “Congrats to @Thee_LoLaMonroe and @iamKingLos on their new addition to the family. The feelings is amazing!!!” tweeted Wiz Khalifa, who became a father to son Sebastian last month.
Juicy J added, “congrats to @iamKingLos & @Thee_LoLaMonroe on their newborn.”
The couple announced in December that they were expecting their first child.
LoLa’s friend Cassie threw a baby shower for her in L.A. earlier this month.
UPDATE: LoLa has announced the name of her son, Brixton Royal, and shared a photo of the newborn via Instagram.
“On 3/12/13 me n My King @iamkinglos brought royalty at it’s finest into this world…Meet ‘Brixton Royal’ ..I couldn’t have asked for a better Man to have this INDESCRIBABLE blessing with. Can’t take my eyes off of this beautiful creation. Thank you Lord,” she said.
